October is clergy appreciation month, so we take time every year to recognize all of the time, effort, and commitment that our pastors put into our church. If you want to show our pastors some love, you can do so in many ways.
Words of affirmation in a hand written card are a beautiful way to tell them how much they mean to you. Hand them directly to the pastor or use the gift bag at guest services.
Monetary gifts are a delightful way to let them treat themselves with a special meal or item. We will have designated giving set up on the app if you don’t have cash or checks.
Handmade or store-bought gifts let them know how well you know them and love them.
If you’re interested in leading a small group, we ask that you come to leader training on August 24th after service. We’ll dive in to what it means to lead a small group at Redemption.
If you have made the wonderful decision to ask Jesus to be your savior, we want to invite you to participate in water baptism. This is an obedient step that we believe all Christians should participate in. Please register to let us know that you want to participate.

We will be joining together for a special week of fasting, prayer, communion, and community. Our church family should spend this week asking God what He would have you fast. Starting on August 9th, we will begin our fast. Every evening at 5:30pm from the 9th-15th, we will meet at the church for a short time of worship, prayer, communion and fellowship. We are calling it "The Acts 2 Experience." This experience will draw us closer to God as we quiet the noise of the world, our bodies, social media, etc. while drawing us closer as a faith family through this joined experience.
Acts 2:42 states that, "All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer." Verse 46 follows that with, "They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity." Doesn't this sound like a wonderful church to participate in!

We’re having a BIG 1-night VBS event that you don’t want to miss! All 1st through 5th grade students are invited to our FREE Back to School Bash on July 31st from 5:30-8:30pm. There will be food, games, a fun message, prizes, and a waterslide!!!! Don’t forget your towel!
We need you! Yes, YOU! There are going to be kids having the best time learning about Jesus, getting fed physically and spiritually, and playing together (without phone screens, gasp). We need some volunteers to help make this event one to remember. We will need people to decorate, keep crowd control, man the inflatables, and feed everyone. Be the hands and feet of Jesus and let’s show Chelsea what it looks like when we come together and share Jesus with the next generation.

The weather’s warm, so that calls for outdoor activities…like a picnic…with a waterslide and inflatables! This year we’re doing our church picnic on Saturday evening. RC will provide hotdogs and hamburgers, we just ask you to bring a side or drink. As for desserts…we’re having a BAKING COMPETITION! Bring out your best homemade baked goods to compete.
P.S.-If anyone wants some (imaginary) bonus points, we’d love homemade ice cream to go with a warm bowl of cobbler.

Would you like to lead a weekly small group?! Now’s your chance! Our summer small group season is a great time to jump in and lead. Want to meet up and kayak at Oak Mtn? Cool! Want to host a Bible study? Amazing! Your small group can look however you want. This is an opportunity to get to know your faith family and disciple others.

It’s the biggest multi-church event of the year! Join us at Chelsea City Hall for games, inflatables, music, Kona ice, coffee food truck, a message, and an egg hunt! Egg hunts will be separated by age group. There will be a special area set aside for friends with disabilities.
People from the Chelsea community are coming together to do a prayer walk at Freedom Family Church, Union Community Church, Generation Church, Redemption Church, and Chelsea Church of God. The walk begins at Freedom at 10:30 am on the 28th. After praying over the church, people, and upcoming Easter events, everyone will proceed to the next church to cover them in prayer. The prayer walk will conclude at Chelsea City Hall where we will pray over the grounds and the Chelsea community that will participate in the upcoming Eggstravaganza event.
