Lead Pastor

Philip Nola was raised in nearby in Hoover, Alabama. After some time struggling with addiction following an injury, Philip had an encounter with God that turned his life around. After graduating Highlands College, Philip began leading youth and outreach ministries at a couple of churches, before being called to Redemption.

ALAN HIGDON

Pastor Alan leads our youth group. Over the past 25 years he has been a senior pastor, student pastor, and church planter. His heart for God’s kingdom is shown in the way he serves.

Rebecca Newman

Pastor Rebecca has been involved in children’s ministry for the past 10 years. She has a passion for teaching children about the love of Jesus in a fun and interactive way. She has been teaching at local schools since 2005, when she received her Elementary Education degree, and is currently teaching 5th grade at Mt. Laurel Elementary.

Lacey Byers

Lacey Byers is our church administrative assistant. A Chelsea native, Lacey has attended church at this location her entire life. Her ancestors were some of the founding members of the white church that still stands across the road from our current facilities.

Abby Johnson

Abby Johnson has been a faithful member of Redemption Church for many years. She loves to volunteer at events and help in Children’s Church.
